The land plots are located in the territory of the town of Batyovo and the village of Batrad, Beregivskyi district of the Zakarpattia region.
Batyovo (former names — Batu, Vuzlove) is an urban-type settlement in Beregivskyi district of the Zakarpattia region of Ukraine. The settlement is located 33 km from the district center and 11 km from the border with Hungary. The railway junction station Batyovo is located here, which is located at the intersection of the Uzhhorod – Lviv and Uzhhorod – Solotvino lines. For freight transportation by rail, the Batevo checkpoint operates on the border with Hungary.
The land plot is very well located in terms of transport accessibility. The plot itself adjoins the international highway M 25.
The M 25 highway is a highway of international importance in Ukraine. It passes through the territory of the Zakarpattia region through Solomonovo — Chop — Velyka Dobron — Kosino (checkpoint) — Yanoshi.
Also, one of the attractive features of the location of the plot is the relatively short distance to the checkpoint with Hungary. At a distance of 11 kilometers is the international crossing Dzvinkove.
Also, the good convenience of the site is characterized by the proximity to the railway stations – Batyovo and Batyovo 2. Batyovo station is located in the village of Batyovo, at a distance of 5 km., and the second station is located on the northern border of the site.
Labor resources
Transcarpathia occupies 17th place among the regions of Ukraine by population, the region is home to 1,256,602 people.
The population of the Beregov district is 44,500 people, and the Bativska community is 12,000 people.
Project features, development concept
The BF TERMINAL industrial park will represent a group of industrial enterprises engaged in wood processing and wood product manufacturing, as well as the construction of a production and transshipment complex, which will provide for the production (processing) of forestry products: wood processing, production of MDF boards, CLT boards (cross-laminated timber boards), production of laminate and parquet, and cargo transshipment. The project envisages the gradual creation of 2,000 new jobs and export-oriented production (processing) of woodworking products. The project is planned to be implemented using the mechanisms provided for by the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Features of Regulation of Land Relations under Martial Law” No. 2247-ИХ, with prior receipt of relevant conclusions on the feasibility of implementing the project from the central executive body that ensures the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of transport (the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine) and local urban planning and architecture bodies.
The design and construction of individual enterprises of the industrial park is planned to be carried out in accordance with the requirements of their investors – participants of the industrial park.
In connection with the above, the composition of the industrial park “BF TERMINAL” will be formed taking into account the priority of placement of enterprises in such industries as:
- Sawmilling and planing production
- Manufacture of products from wood, cork, straw and plant materials for weaving
- Furniture production
- Other industries compatible with the above and other purposes (depending on the relevance of placing a specific production in the community).
Including, but not exclusively, participants in the industrial park may be enterprises, according to the types of economic activity according to KVED DK 009:2010, section C – Processing industry.
