Chernivtsi and industrial parks

11/04/2019

Thanks to Dmitry Kysilevsky for the invitation to participate in the forum on industrial parks, which took place in Chernivtsi on October 27.

The event was held, as I believe, in one of the most beautiful universities in Ukraine. I have not seen all the universities, but the buildings of the Chernivtsi National University are truly unique, both externally and internally.

And the city itself pleasantly surprised with its beauty and compactness.

The event itself, already the third, after Lviv and Uzhgorod, was very productive and informative.
Once again, he was convinced of the low level of education of regional communities and authorities regarding the implementation of industrial park projects. It is more often manifested in the position

«I have registered and now I am waiting for someone to do all the work for us: find money, residents, a management company, and so on.».

At the same time, the region and the city are unique in terms of their geographical location, labor and other resources, a good foundation for development. You just need to be able to use it all correctly and learn to work in the realities of today, in the conditions of limited resources, but taking into account the opportunities that open up.
All pain points are the same:
  • No money;
  • There are no residents, and if there are, we do not know from which side they will be approached;
  • It is expensive and difficult to set up networks;
  • There are no management companies.
  • Nobody knows about us.

At the event, ministerial officials and deputies explained the basics of industrial parks and preferences.

They listened to the pains of the local authorities, listened to the presentations of 3 local registered industrial parks. Practical cases of implementation of industrial parks in Ukraine and world experience were discussed.
As always, we had a useful, constructive and fruitful conversation after the event.
Such educational and practical events are difficult to overestimate. Another small step in the direction of raising the Ukrainian economy has been made.
The walker will be strong!
Everything will be Ukraine!
