On March 10, 2025, the group of companies «Industrial Parks of Ukraine» and a private initiator signed an agreement to develop a concept and create a new industrial park in Kvitneva community of Zhytomyr region.
The project envisages the creation of a modern industrial site, on the territory of which it is planned to build a waste processing plant. The future enterprise will specialize in waste processing with the subsequent production of electricity, biogas and other useful products, which will significantly increase the efficiency of resource use and reduce the environmental burden.
This industrial park will be the third project in the network of industrial parks of one of the investors, who is actively developing similar industrial sites throughout Ukraine.
The first industrial park of this investor has already been registered in Khmelnytskyi region, and the registration procedure for another industrial park in Kyiv region is currently underway. The new project in Zhytomyr region will be the next step in expanding this network.
An important feature of all projects is the implementation of the concept of eco-industrial parks. This involves the creation of industrial parks on the territory that will operate according to the principles of environmental responsibility, efficient use of resources and waste minimization.
The implementation of the project will contribute to attracting investments, creating new jobs and developing modern green industry in the region.
