This year, the event brought together a record number of participants and a very strong lineup of speakers. Among those present were representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and other relevant ministries that form and implement industrial development policy.
Also among the participants were initiators of the creation of industrial parks, managing companies of industrial business, representatives of operating industrial parks and businesses interested in the development of this area. This ensured a high-quality dialogue between the state, managers and potential investors.
As a representative of the Industrial Parks of Ukraine group of companies, I joined a panel dedicated to the economics of eco-industrial parks and the practical benefits for initiators and participants in the event of implementing their principles.
They talked about:
- the economic model of an eco-industrial park
- benefits for residents and management companies
- risks of creating industrial parks
- mechanisms and sources of financing
- practical challenges of implementing “green” approaches
The discussion was meaningful and applied — with a focus on specific tools, financial models, and management solutions.
Demand for eco-industrial parks is growing. This is no longer just a trend, but a strategic direction for increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian industry, attracting investment and integrating into European markets.
Thank you to the organizers and colleagues for the professional and constructive dialogue. Let’s move on.
